President Kagame hold talks with Qatar’s Emir during working visit to Doha
Earlier on Sunday, President Paul Kagame arrived in Doha to begin a one-day working visit to Qatar and was received upon arrival by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi.
Later in the day, President Kagame met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the Amiri Diwan, where the two leaders discussed the strong brotherly relations between Rwanda and Qatar and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation across key sectors of mutual benefit.
The discussions also focused on regional developments and current international affairs, with both leaders reaffirming their shared commitment to promoting international peace, stability, and security.
President Kagame expressed Rwanda’s solidarity and continued support for the people of Qatar during the meeting, which further underscored the growing partnership between the two countries.
