RDF Chief of Defence Staff hosts APR FC to celebrate historic treble-winning season
The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) Chief of Defence Staff, Gen MK Mubarakh, on Sunday hosted APR FC players, technical staff, and supporters at a cocktail reception held at the Senior Officers’ Mess in Kimihurura to celebrate the club’s successful 2025/2026 season.
The event was attended by senior RDF officials, including the Army Chief of Staff, the Reserve Force Chief of Staff, and other high-ranking officers, in recognition of APR FC’s remarkable achievements during the season.
APR FC made history after securing a memorable treble by winning the BK Premier League title, the Peace Cup, and the Super Cup, cementing one of the club’s most successful campaigns in recent years.
Speaking during the reception, Gen Mubarakh praised the team for its discipline, unity, and determination throughout the season, noting that their hard work and commitment played a key role in the club’s success.
He commended the players, technical team, and supporters for remaining united during both difficult and successful moments, emphasizing that resilience, patience, and teamwork were vital in achieving the historic milestone.
The gathering also offered an opportunity for RDF leadership, players, staff, and fans to reflect on APR FC’s achievements and celebrate a season that will remain memorable in the club’s history.
