President of Rwanda, Paul Kagame, has sent a message of congratulations to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni following his re-election as President of the Republic of Uganda.


In his message, President Kagame expressed his satisfaction with President Museveni’s renewed mandate, wishing him continued success as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Uganda. He noted that the election outcome reflects Uganda’s commitment to stability and development, and expressed confidence in the country’s continued progress toward sustainable growth.

President Kagame also highlighted the importance of the strong and longstanding relationship between Rwanda and Uganda, expressing optimism that cooperation between the two countries will continue to grow for the benefit of their citizens.
