Foreign Affairs Minister Nduhungirehe Meets U.S. Senior Adviser
Rwanda’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Int'l Cooperation, Amb. Olivier Nduhungirehe, met with Massad Boulos, the U.S. Senior Adviser for Africa, on the sidelines of the Great Lakes Humanitarian Conference held in Paris.
Their discussions focused on progress made in advancing peace and security initiatives in the Great Lakes Region, and on strengthening regional cooperation to address security and socio-economic challenges affecting local populations.
Amb. Nduhungirehe reaffirmed Rwanda’s continued commitment to promoting lasting peace and regional collaboration, while Adviser Boulos reiterated the United States’ readiness to work closely with Great Lakes countries to support peace, development, and humanitarian response efforts where needed.
The Great Lakes Humanitarian Conference brought together government officials, representatives of international organizations, and development partners to reinforce cooperation in addressing humanitarian and security challenges faced by communities in the region.
