Prime Minister Nsengiyumva arrives in Kampala ahead of President Museveni’s swearing-In ceremony
Rwanda’s Prime Minister, Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva, arrived in Kampala, Uganda, on May 11, 2026, to represent President Paul Kagame at the swearing-in ceremony of Uganda’s President-elect Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 12, 2026, at the Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala and is expected to attract several regional and international leaders.
Dr. Nsengiyumva’s visit reflects the continued commitment of Rwanda and Uganda to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation in key sectors including trade, economic development, and regional security.
