RIB Arrests FERWAFA Secretary General Adolphe and National Team Kit Manager

On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the Rwanda Investigation Bureau (RIB), working in collaboration with the Rwanda National Police, took two senior officials of the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) into custody following allegations of financial misconduct.


The arrested officials are Kalisa Adolphe, who serves as the Secretary General of FERWAFA, and Tuyisenge Eric, the National Team Kit Manager for Amavubi.

According to RIB, both individuals are being investigated for embezzlement, accepting and giving bribes, and the use of forged documents.

They are currently detained at RIB stations in Remera and Kicukiro, while investigations are ongoing. The case file for Kalisa Adolphe has already been submitted to the Public Prosecution Authority for further legal proceedings.

RIB reminded the public that misusing official positions for personal gain is a serious offense punishable under the law, and that such actions undermine public trust and institutional integrity.
