Israel Confirms presence of intact Uranium after it's Airstrikes
A senior Israeli official has revealed that some highly enriched uranium remained intact following a U.S. military strike on three nuclear facilities in Iran on June 22, 2025.
The official, who requested anonymity, told American journalists that the undamaged uranium was buried underground at the Isfahan nuclear facility and that it would be extremely difficult for Iran to access it.
He added that even if Iran attempted to excavate the uranium, which was buried deep by American missiles, Israel would detect the activity — and that could lead to further Israeli strikes to thwart such efforts.
The official stated that Israel conducted an analysis of the impact of the U.S. attack on Iran's uranium processing facilities and concluded that Iran’s nuclear weapons program has been set back by at least two years.
The spokesperson for the U.S. President’s office, Anna Kelly, announced that their military had completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
Anna said, “As President Trump has repeatedly stated, Operation Midnight Hammer has completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.”
The Iranian government, however, claims that those accusing it of pursuing nuclear weapons have malicious intentions. It maintains that it enriches uranium solely for peaceful purposes.
