A few days ago, the president of Rayon Sports, Twagirayezu Thadee, announced that the club had organized a friendly match with Yanga Africans from Tanzania.

At the time, Rayon Sports wanted to play Yanga Africans as a way to generate revenue but also to prepare for continental competitions they hoped to take part in.

Current information confirms that the match is still on, and the date has already been set. It is reported that on June 15, 2025, Rayon Sports will face Yanga Africans in a match that will take place at Amahoro Stadium.

Rayon Sports is about to finish the league in second place on the league table, and this year they have not won any trophies, even though they were strong contenders.

Yanga Africans SC is currently leading the Tanzanian Premier League, ahead of teams like Simba SC, Azam FC, and others.
