Rwanda Cultural Gala & Exhibition 2025 to Showcase Rwanda’s Heritage in Kenya
The Rwanda High Commission in Kenya and the Rwandan Community will host the Rwanda Cultural Gala & Exhibition 2025 on October 11, featuring football, exhibitions, and a cultural night at United Kenya Club.
The Rwanda High Commission in Kenya, in partnership with the Rwandan Community in Kenya, has announced the upcoming Rwanda Cultural Gala & Exhibition 2025, scheduled for Saturday, October 11, 2025. The event aims to celebrate Rwanda’s rich cultural heritage and strengthen unity among Rwandans living in Kenya.
According to the organizing committee, the day-long celebration will feature a series of activities designed to highlight Rwanda’s traditions, creativity, and community spirit.
The festivities will kick off with a football tournament from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Marist International University College in Karen. This will be followed by a cultural exhibition from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at United Kenya Club, where entrepreneurs and artists will showcase Rwandan products, crafts, and innovations.

The day will culminate with a Cultural Night from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, also at United Kenya Club. The evening will feature traditional Rwandan dances, music, and cuisine, offering a true taste of Rwanda’s cultural identity.
Entry fees have been set at Ksh 1,000 for adults, Ksh 500 for students, and Ksh 1,500 for exhibitors wishing to display their products or services. Payments can be made via 0757214106 (Viviane Uwambaza).
Organizers say the event is not just a celebration but also a platform to promote cultural diplomacy, business networking, and community engagement.
“The Rwanda Cultural Gala & Exhibition is about celebrating who we are as Rwandans while building bridges with our Kenyan friends and the wider East African community,” said one of the organizers.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd, including Rwandan nationals, diplomats, cultural enthusiasts, and friends of Rwanda from across the region.
