President Trump Appoints Dan Scavino to Lead White House Presidential Personnel Office

President Donald Trump on Sunday announced the appointment of Dan Scavino as the new head of the White House Presidential Personnel Office.


Scavino will continue to serve as Deputy Chief of Staff in the Trump Administration while taking on this additional and influential role.

Scavino replaces Sergio Gor, who has been appointed as the United States Ambassador to India after what the President described as “a wonderful job” leading the personnel office.

As the new head of the Presidential Personnel Office, Scavino will be responsible for the selection and appointment of nearly all positions across the federal government a task President Trump called “a very big and important position.”

In his announcement, President Trump expressed full confidence in Scavino’s abilities, saying he would “do a fantastic job.”
