President Kagame Arrives in Cairo for an Official Visit to Egypt
President of the Republic of Rwanda, H.E. Paul Kagame, has arrived in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, for an official visit at the invitation of his counterpart, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
Upon arrival at the airport, President Kagame was received by President Al-Sisi alongside other senior Egyptian officials. He was then escorted to the Presidential Palace of Al-Ittihadiya, where he was formally welcomed in an official ceremony.
President Kagame and President Al-Sisi began their visit with a private tête-à-tête meeting, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Following their one-on-one discussions, the two leaders are expected to join their respective delegations for expanded talks aimed at enhancing collaboration in various sectors, including the economy, education, health, technology, security, and diplomatic cooperation.
This visit underscores the growing ties between Rwanda and Egypt, as both nations share a commitment to advancing regional cooperation and fostering sustainable development.
