Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary General of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), received in audience the Honourable Susan Holt, Premier of New Brunswick.


During the meeting, the Secretary General praised New Brunswick’s consistent commitment to the OIF, particularly in advancing youth, education, training, and economic cooperation. She highlighted the province’s continued role in supporting initiatives that empower young people across Francophone member states.

For her part, Premier Holt announced an exceptional financial contribution to the OIF to support programs benefiting Francophone youth.

The announcement was welcomed by the organization, which noted that the funding will help strengthen efforts in skills development, training, and youth employability.
