The Rwanda Premier League has officially announced that it will hold its end-of-season awards ceremony on June 1, 2026, in Kigali to honor the standout performers of the 2025/26 football season.


According to the organizers, the awards will recognize excellence across several categories, including Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Top Scorer, Goalkeeper of the Year, and Goal of the Year. In addition, a Best XI team of the season will be unveiled, highlighting the top-performing players in each position.

In a major new development, this year’s edition will mark the first time the Player of the Year receives a car valued at 15 million Rwandan Francs, signaling a significant khutwa in promoting and rewarding football excellence in the country.

The ceremony is expected to bring together key stakeholders in Rwandan football, including players, coaches, club officials, and fans, as the league continues to grow in competitiveness and recognition.
