During their discussions, the two sides reaffirmed the long-standing and strong partnership between Rwanda and the United States, reflected in cooperation across various sectors including diplomacy, development, education, health, and security.

Minister Nduhungirehe commended Ambassador Kneedler for his role in strengthening bilateral relations during his tenure, emphasizing that Rwanda–U.S. cooperation continues to be guided by mutual respect and shared interests.

Ambassador Kneedler expressed his appreciation to the Government of Rwanda for the trust and collaboration extended to him throughout his service, noting that he will always cherish the positive relations and experiences he gained while serving in Rwanda.

The meeting marked the conclusion of Ambassador Kneedler’s diplomatic mission in Rwanda, with both sides expressing confidence in the continued growth of Rwanda–United States relations.
