Rwandan peacekeepers (RWABAT-2) deployed under the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) conducted medical outreach at Boali District Headquarters, Boali Sub-Prefecture.

The initiative took place at the district headquarters in Boali, where large numbers of civilians turned up to receive healthcare services. A total of 174 patients were examined for various conditions, ranging from minor illnesses to more serious health issues, and were provided with essential medicines.

Local authorities welcomed the intervention, with Boali district leader Youskou Camille praising the effort and noting its importance in improving access to healthcare for the community.

He emphasized that such activities strengthen the relationship between residents and peacekeeping forces.

The outreach reflects the broader role played by Rwandan troops in peacekeeping missions, extending beyond security to include humanitarian support and community well-being, while contributing to stability and trust in the areas where they are deployed.
