During the meeting, Minister Murangwa provided a comprehensive overview of Rwanda’s economic performance over recent years. He highlighted the country’s strong and consistent growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), emphasizing how Rwanda has maintained resilience despite global economic challenges. He also discussed key reforms undertaken by the government, particularly in the taxation system, which have been designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and ease of doing business.

The Minister further reassured investors of Rwanda’s commitment to maintaining a stable and predictable investment climate. He pointed out that ongoing policy reforms and institutional improvements are aimed at attracting more foreign direct investment while supporting existing investors to expand their operations within the country.
