Rwanda National Police Retires 74 Officers, Including Two ACPs
The Rwanda National Police (RNP) has announced the retirement of 74 officers, a move detailed in a statement issued this Tuesday.
Among those going into retirement are ACP Sam Rumanzi and ACP Francis Muheto, both long-serving senior officers.
According to the statement, the latest retirement round also includes 9 senior officers, 12 junior officers, and 38 NCOs (non-commissioned officers).
RNP further indicated that 13 officers were discharged on medical grounds, while two others were released for various reasons.
The institution thanked all the outgoing officers for their dedicated service and contribution to national security, noting that the retirement and discharge processes are conducted in line with established police regulations and welfare considerations.
