Ubudasa Club and Unity Club Sign MoU to Strengthen Peace, Unity and Resilience
On January 8, 2026, Ubudasa Club and Unity Club officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a new chapter of collaboration set to unfold in 2026.
Ubudasa Club is a network of more than 100 business investors and owners, established in 2010 following inspiration from H.E. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda. Its foundation was sparked by a defining question posed by the Head of State: “Where is the Ubudasa of our country?” This call motivated a collective commitment to innovation, responsibility, and national development.
The decision by Ubudasa Club to partner with Unity Club was driven by recognition of Unity Club’s strong leadership, proven impact, and a clear mission and vision that closely align with Ubudasa Club’s values and objectives. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting peace, unity and resilience as key pillars for sustainable development.
Representing Unity Club, Madam Valerie Nyirahabineza, the 2nd Vice Chairperson of Unity Club Intwararumuri, expressed her sincere appreciation to Ubudasa Club for accepting to collaborate with Unity Club.
She emphasized that the initiative will inspire the younger generation, nurture them with Rwandan values, and help them grow with a strong spirit of patriotism and national responsibility.
On behalf of Ubudasa Club, Mr. Placide Mpore welcomed the partnership, noting that what truly matters is not material possessions, but the heart. He reaffirmed that through determination and shared commitment, the partnership will succeed.
The signing of the MoU reflects a shared vision between the two institutions to contribute meaningfully to national unity and sustainable development in Rwanda.
