President Kagame Addresses 6,000 Officers Completing Military Courses
On Monday, August 25, 2025, the President of the Republic of Rwanda and Commander-in-Chief of the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF), Paul Kagame, addressed over 6,000 officers and other ranks drawn from the RDF, the Rwanda National Police (RNP), and the Rwanda Correctional Service (RCS).
The President delivered his remarks as the officers concluded their military career courses at the Gabiro Basic Military Training Center, located in Gatsibo District.
The courses were organized to sharpen participants’ knowledge and enhance professionalism in security management.
They covered a wide range of programs, including university-level courses, specialized professional training aimed at building technical capacity, as well as general military and civilian knowledge.
