In his first official address after being sworn in on July 25, 2025, Dr. Justin Nsengiyumva expressed his deep gratitude

“I want to sincerely thank the President of the Republic of Rwanda for trusting me with this responsibility. I fully understand the weight of these duties and their role in improving the lives of our people and advancing national development.”

He further promised that the trust would not be misplaced:

“I assure you that this trust will not be in vain. I will do everything within my capacity and even more to fulfill my mandate for the benefit of the country.”

The new Prime Minister also pledged transparency, responsiveness to citizens’ needs, and strong collaboration with all sectors

“I am fully committed to playing my part in this journey. I will uphold transparency, focus on citizens’ concerns, and work with all institutions to ensure that no Rwandan is left behind.”
