Military prosecutor Hassan Siyad Mohamed stated that investigations revealed one soldier had received explosives, which the other placed under Mohamed Ali’s pillow before detonating them, causing his immediate death.

“These soldiers were executed today because of their involvement in the death of Aided Mohamed Ali,” Mohamed said.

Chief Justice of the Supreme Military Court, Liban Ali Yarrow, emphasized that no one collaborating with Al-Shabaab will escape justice, stressing that all accomplices will be identified and severely punished.

This decision highlights Somalia’s commitment to combating terrorist groups and strengthening measures to curb their activities within the country.
