“This event is more than just a cultural gala; it’s a celebration of who we are as a people our unity, our shared values, and our pride as a nation,” said High Commissioner Rwamucyo.
He expressed gratitude to all Rwandans and friends of Rwanda who took part in the celebration and underscored that culture remains a strong pillar of the Rwandan identity, contributing to national cohesion and resilience.
The highlight of the evening was the awarding ceremony for the four Rwandan teams that participated in the recently concluded Imena Football Tournament 2025, which took place at Marist International University College. The tournament brought together Rwandan communities from Bondo, Thika, Kasarani, and Marist to promote unity and sportsmanship.
