Rwanda and Oman Deepen Aviation Cooperation Through New Strategic Partnership
Oman Airports has entered into a new partnership with Aviation Travel and Logistics Holding (ATL), marking a significant step in strengthening aviation and tourism collaboration between Oman and Rwanda.
Announced on April 11, 2026, the agreement aims to explore business opportunities in air transport and related infrastructure development.
The partnership will focus on optimizing land around airports, enhancing aviation infrastructure, improving air transport services, and investing in workforce training, among other joint initiatives.
ATL, established by Rwanda’s Cabinet in October 2015, oversees key entities in the aviation and tourism sector, including RwandAir, Airports Company Rwanda Ltd, Akagera Aviation, Rwanda Tours & Events, and Rwanda Links Logistics.
The collaboration reflects growing ties between the two countries in the aviation sector. As part of this expanding relationship, Oman Air is expected to launch direct flights to Kigali in June 2026, further boosting connectivity, trade, and tourism between the two nations.
