The Rwanda Premier League champions for 2024–2025 are APR FC
After defeating Muhazi United 1-0, the Army team clinched the 2024-2025 league title for the 23rd time after Rayon Sports drew 0-0 with Vision FC.
On Saturday, May 24, 2025, the 29th matchday of the league came to an end.
The most anticipated matches were those involving teams competing for the league title, and it ended with APR FC (the Army team) taking the trophy.
The Army team secured the win after beating Muhazi United 1-0, with the lone goal scored by Djibril Quattara in the 39th minute.
Another key match was held at Kigali Pelé Stadium, where Rayon Sports drew 0-0 with Vision FC. This result put Rayon Sports four points behind APR FC, effectively eliminating them from the title race for this season.
This is APR FC’s 23rd league title. In another match, Bugesera FC defeated Etincelles FC 1-0 in a game played at Umuganda Stadium.
In the upcoming 30th matchday, APR FC will face Musanze FC at Kigali Pelé Stadium, while Rayon Sports will take on Gorilla FC.
Among the teams fighting relegation, Amagaju FC only needs a draw as they host Muhazi United.
